What is the QIPs purpose?
We have introduced summaries of some of the key Gastroenterology guidelines, to improve accessibility and understanding of the hospital guidelines. These summaries will be available on the intranet and on posters around the hospital for easy access.
The aim is to improve compliance with current guidelines, improve doctors confidence and to ultimately improve patient care.
Full guidelines will still be available on the intranet and wont be replaced by the summary documents.
Why have you been asked to complete this survey? As a doctor at Luton and Dunstable Hospital, we feel the new summary documents may be relevant to you.
Do you have to take part? It is up to you to decide whether or not to complete the survey. If you do decide to take part. You can stop at any time without giving a reason. You should only participate if you want to; choosing not to take part will not disadvantage you in any way. Ask us if there is anything that is not clear or if you would like more information.
What will it involve? The following survey will take less than 5 mins to complete. We would be grateful for your responses. All data will be collected and stored in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation.
What are the possible disadvantages and risks of taking part? There are no foreseeable discomforts, disadvantages and risks for taking part. However, if you do feel uncomfortable, please feel free to not complete the survey.
Will my taking part in this project be kept confidential? You will not be able to be identified in any ensuing reports or publications.
